Getting back on track…

I can’t believe how long it is since I blogged!!!
Things in my personal life seem to be settling down (I hope I haven’t spoke to soon).  I have had nearly 12 months of rubbish luck including a cancer scare myself but now I am going to try and put it behind me and move onwards and upwards.

I have never been an ‘active’ blogger since starting this blog and I must admit as a relatively new blogger I don’t know how to do most things but I plan to get into learning more about how to do things and once I know more about what I’m doing I hope to feel more confident in it and therefore blog on a regular basis, or at least that’s my plan.

I hope to have my blog up and running and at least one card made and blogged on a weekly basis in the next few weeks then when my blog is more active I will think about looking for a monthly DT but I’m not going to get ahead of myself lol

So although there is no card today I will add a card before the end of the month!!!

Christmas cards

My crafting has commenced...

I have made a few Christmas cards today, sorry the pictures are rubbish as I have had to use my sons camera as mine is dead.

The papers are single sheets from last year.  The toppers on the red scalloped card, the white 8 x 8 scalloped card and the square Merry Christmas card are all from Kanban.
The Christmas tree card and topper are from Create and Craft last year.

I am also putting these forward for the christmas cards all year round blog DT call.

A card for my sisters birthday

This is a card I made for my sisters big 40...

This card was made using a Fizzy Moon decopage image.  The shaped card is from Which Craft and the matt card is from Kanban.  I used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I bought the key charm and made the pins up from beads I bought at a bead shop in Afflecks Place in Manchester

Lili of the Valley "Teddy flower stamp" card

I have used a Lilli of the Valley stamp called 'Teddy Flower' on this card.

The card is from Kanban.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The bow and buttons are from my craft stash...

For this card i coloured the image using Pro-markers.

I then added some glitter to the flowers and butterfly.

Thanks, Lisa
